Meet the trainers:
Kobus van der Merwe is a dedicated Imago International Faculty Member and certified Imago Relationship Therapist and workshop presenter based in South Africa. With a passion for helping couples and families, Kobus has spent his career honing his expertise in Imago Relationship Therapy. His experience and training have allowed him to assist therapists in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, the United States, and Europe. In recognition of his exceptional work, he received the Harville Hendrix Award for Clinical Excellence in 2016.

Gene Shelly
He is a Pastoral Counselor and an Imago Therapist in private practice. He obtained his M.Div. from New Brunswick Theological Seminary and holds a certificate in Pastoral Psychotherapy from the Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute where he was a resident in a three- year psychoanalytic oriented intensive training program. He also has a certificate in Imago Relationship Therapy and is certified to present the Imago “Getting the Love You Want” couples workshops and is certified to train others in the Basic Clinical Training Program of Imago Therapy.
Nedra Fetterman, Ph. D. is an Imago Therapist, Workshop Presenter, Clinical Instructor, and an Imago Advanced Clinician. She is a longtime associate in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where she serves as a Clinical Instructor of Psychiatric Residents. She has maintained a private practice since 1982 working with adults, couples, families and adolescents.

BECOMING A CERTIFIED IMAGO THERAPIST
The following requirements are required prior to certification:
- Participate in a ‘Getting the Love You Want – Couples Weekend Workshop’
- Provide clinical support in a ‘Getting the Love You Want – Couples Weekend Workshop’
- Complete two reports following the training, as outlined by the Clinical Instructor.
- Present DVD samples of your work with couples for supervision
- Complete six supervision sessions with an Imago supervisor
- Submit a final DVD of your work with couples, for assessment, after completion of the six supervision sessions.
- Provide proof of membership to a recognized professional association
- Pay certification fees
The training takes place on the 24th of October at 09:00 Australian EST
The whole online training will be held on Zoom.
The full price is 1500$ per person but there are early bird tickets available for 1400$ until September
